Taking leaf from the government, country’s largest automobile company Maruti Suzuki has decided to extend the validity period of warranty and service of customer vehicle falling due during the period of lockdown. It has decided that customer vehicles, whose free service, warranty and extended warranty are scheduled to end in the period from March 15, 2020 to April 30, 2020 are now being extended up to June 30, 2020.
Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday unveiled the all-new Vitara Brezza, equipped with the “1.5 Litre K-series BS6” petrol engine. The new Vitara Brezza, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020, is the latest version of the compact SUV which according to the company offers a host of new features. “Vitara Brezza created a disruption amongst compact SUVs,” Kenichi Ayukawa, said.
Maruti Suzuki India on Sunday reported a 1.9 per cent decline in its November sales to 1,50,630 units, compared on a year-on-year basis. The company had sold 1,53,539 units in November 2018. In a regulatory filing, Maruti Suzuki said that the sale of domestic passenger vehicles in the month in consideeration declined by 3.3 per cent to 1,39,133 units.
