Yashwant Sinha-led anti-CAA rally to reach Agra on Saturday

The ‘Gandhi Shanti Yatra-2020’ which started from Mumbai on January 9, will reach Agra on Saturday after travelling through Maharashtra, Gujarat and Haryana and conclude at Rajghat here on January 30. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha-led rally against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Population Register (NPR) had started from  Mumbai.

Kamal Nath leads anti-CAA protests in Bhopal

Thousands turned out for the Congress’ ‘Save the Constitution’ march here in Madhya Pradesh and raised slogans against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) on Wednesday. Led by Chief Minister Kamal Nath, the march covered a distance of about two kilometres from Roshanpura square to Minto Hall. MP has refused to enfoce CAA.

Hyderabad varsity students detained ahead of anti-CAA rally

The Cyberabad police on Thursday detained nearly 100 students of the University of Hyderabad as they were heading to participate in a rally here called by the Left parties to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). The police whisked away the students from the main gate of the university at Gachibowli and shifted them to Moinabad police station on the city outskirts.
