In a shocking incident, seven people who were allegedly abducted by Patthalgari supporters in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district are believed to have been killed. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has termed the incident as unfortunate. “I am pained over such incident. Law is above everyone. The accused will not be spared. We will review with officials ,” said the Chief Minister in his tweet.
As many as seven people were killed and 24 injured after a pick-up van fell off a bridge in a river near Vinchur area of Dhule district in Maharashtra, police said on Saturday. Of the 24 injured, five are said to be serious and battling for life at a nearby hospital. The incident happened around 0030 hrs on Friday night after a taxi nose-dived into the river.
