LG may launch 5G smartphone under new brand in May

LG Electronics is likely to launch a new 5G-enabled and cheaper smartphone under a new brand name next month. The smartphone will be cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy S20 premium smartphone but will house all the features a flagship smartphone is expected to have, reports The Korea Times. The company has announced that it would ditch the G brand.

COVID-19 cases in AP touch 266, highest number in Kurnool

Crude oil prices fall as ‘OPEC+’ delays meet on output cut

B’luru civic body uses 2 hotels as quarantine centres

Goa man wishes COVID-19 to Jamaat harassers; arrested

A Goa Police spokesperson on Friday said that the Shaikh, who runs a garments store in the mining town, was arrested under sections 269 and 188 of the Indian Penal Code. While Section 269 deals with commission of an act which is likely to spread infection of any disease dangerous to life and 188 is related to disobedience of an order given by a public servant.

Haryana sees 8 coronavirus cases; total rises to 43

Haryana on Friday reported eight cases of coronavirus patients, taking the total number of cases to 43 in the state, the government said.
Officials said five patients, including four foreigners, were those who came to the state after attending a religious congregation of Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi’s Nizamuddin. Their passports have been confiscated.
